About
Cruising through Northeast Monsoon is inspired by my journey since last December after my father’s passing. It explores navigating between letting go while finding one’s footing. Not in the mood to steer the course in this slippery downhill; the cyclist threw their hands up in the air to feel the wind, despite being well aware of a potential collision or accident.
My expression in this piece is a timely parallel to something I said to my sister after scaling Mt. Merbabu: “Sometimes I scare myself with the thoughts I have… while I was climbing up and down the mountain, I thought to myself—I will be at ease dying here; to exit while being so close to the nature I love, that’s not too bad...” After all, acknowledging my limited existence has time and again helped me live a fuller life.
Cruising through Northeast Monsoon encapsulates the simplistic beauty of a Yellow Flame Tree’s falling blooms amidst a downpour in December, whilst emanating a sense of expansiveness and liberation. Despite being a firm believer that we play a vital role in writing our own stories; there are days I lay down defeated, thinking: “Whatever will be, will be.”

Warranty Terms & Conditions
6 months limited product warranty from date of purchase
Warranty covers manufacturing defects such as:
/ Unresponsive power switch and touch sensor (after full charge)
/ The mini USB cable is unable to charge the lamp
/ Cracks or faults in product parts (not caused by user error)
/ Each lamp is handcrafted and finished, our warranty does not cover minor cosmetic variations, such as wood grain knots or slight unevenness in the lampshade.
/ Lamp bases are sculpted from solid wood, so no two are identical. We cannot offer exchanges for differences in wood grain or colour.
/ Lampshades are 3D-printed or made with silicone, and will naturally yellow slightly over time. It does not affect the glow and is not a defect.
Repair services are available on a case by case basis and can be requested at hello@edenliving.co.
Repairs may take between 2 to 4 weeks to complete, and depending on the cause and complexity of the issue, a small service fee may be charged.
Warranty is voided in the following situations:
/ Defects due to negligence or misuse
/ Damage caused by improper charging or use of a cable other than the one provided
/ If the acrylic panel is opened up, or the lamp is disassembled, with or without attempts to self-repair
/ Cosmetic defects due to wear and tear and/or mishandling
/ Once the 6-month warranty period has lapsed
