In celebration of our 2nd anniversary, we have had the great privilege of working with the esteemed clay potters from 담화헌 (Damhwaheon) to craft this teacup and plate set for Eden Living, made with traditional onggi clay.
Every piece is embellished with the Eden logo, designed to recreate the textures of sky and sea that we love so much. We hope that this piece will bring you a step closer to the eden you imagine for yourself, every time you hold it in hand.
Every year, we support a local cause that is meaningful to us. This year, we pledge 50% of the profits from this anniversary special to local cat shelters and rescuers in hopes of raising awareness for animal welfare.
About Onggi Clay
Known as Jeju Island's volcanic clay, it is enriched with minerals that give it a warm, earthy hue and organic texture. Although unglazed, when fired at high temperatures, every piece has its own unique finish - a subtly distinct sheen almost like a glaze, and tiny speckles that feel comforting to touch.
Traditionally used for its breathable quality, Onggi clay embodies Jeju’s rich heritage and the skilled artistry of local craftsmen.
