About The Lamp
The Chestnut Lamp is our first design in a new collection of statement lamps, Gyeol 결. Designed to be a table lamp, its timeless and organic shape makes it a versatile lamp that can be styled with ease in your home.
This lamp is made from a chestnut base carved from cherry or walnut, paired with a fabric lampshade in a classic or seasonal colour.
The lamp is designed by Eden, and produced by Design Studio Rising (lamp base) and FF Collective (lampshade) in South Korea, then assembled in Singapore. Made in 100% cotton fabric and solid wood, every piece is hand carved and finished, with no two pieces even alike in grain and shape.
Every lamp comes with a hand-stamped certificate of authenticity.
About The Collection
결 is a word in Korean that means “wood grain”, referring to the natural texture or expression of a material or object. Beyond its form, it’s also an expression that describes the intrinsic quality of a person — not in appearance, but the nature that runs through them.
Like how grain is developed over time, it is a record of life honestly lived. Objects made naturally and honestly carry this quality, and you’ll understand when you hold it in your hand. Made to last, may it carry the marks of age as it stays with you through the seasons, offering beauty that will only deepen as the days go by.

How to Care for Your Lamp
- Clean the product regularly with a dry, soft cloth. Using wet wipes, alcohol, or detergent may cause discolouration or damage to the fabric lampshade and solid wood base.
- Do note that we use only quality, organic materials. Even so, the patina seen in fabric, brass and wood will happen naturally over time. We hope you'll enjoy this aging process, as it is what makes your lamp uniquely yours.
- Natural discolouration of the lamp may also happen over time, depending on usage and storage conditions.
Safety Precautions
- The product is made in South Korea and comes with a 2-pin plug. Please use it with a 3-pin adapter only, and kindly refrain from forcefully plugging it into the socket as it may damage the lamp.
- Use the product in a cool and dry place, not exposing it to high temperatures or humid environments.
- Do not use near heat sources, or touch the product with wet hands.
- Do keep the lamp out of reach of children.
We provide a 6 months limited product warranty from date of purchase. It is not eligible for accidental damage, improper use, and natural material variation like wood grain. Kindly read our exchange and returns policy here before placing an order.
